Marlon Tobias

Marlon Tobias was born and raised in New York to a mother of southern roots and a father of Jamaican descent, so from an early age, he understood the beauty and prowess of diversity. 

Marlon became enamored by drawing and painting very early and found the elegance in the human form and the unique story each body tells. As he matured, Marlon's infused heritage mixed with his talent evolved into a passion for history, culture, and the human spirit nestled in between.

Marlon Tobias lives by the motto, “You are not a body with a soul, you are a soul with a body.” With each painting, Marlon Tobias uses life's subtle moments, often the unrecognizable, to capture the beautiful soul that lies within.
